Encourage Nesting.
Keep the inside of the car clean and dispose of any food, snacks or drinks left behind. This not only reduces the risk of unpleasant odors, but also prevents rats and mice from nesting in the car. Consider placing a rattle under your car to deter rodents. Even when the car is locked, rodents can get into the engine, chew through belts and cables, and cause all sorts of damage.
Maintain Tyre Pressure.
Check your vehicle’s tire pressure regularly to make sure your tires are properly inflated. This improves your vehicle’s performance and fuel economy, making it safer on the road. Watch out for uneven wear and damage, which can void your warranty.
